The Cloud: Am I Safe? How Safe?

The Cloud is at use on a daily basis, delivering hosted services over the internet, whether for checking mail, social media or storing files. Regardless of its use, there is no one Cloud that serves the world but several branches of companies that supply it. The more into the future we go, the more the use of the Cloud becomes and the more our personal information is at risk.
Password hacking is the most common factor to violations of privacy when it comes to the Cloud.
  • Remembering to constantly change your password makes the probability of your accounts being hacked much lower.
  • If most of your passwords there is little to no security withing them. In case of anyone hacking into a personal file or account they can use the password they achieved to hack into several other accounts.
It is impossible for the entire Cloud computing system to crash but it is in fact possible for servers and websites to shut down. This is only possible when there is physical damage done to fixtures from weather for example. The Cloud stores information online so crashes can cause severe inconveniences resulting in the loss of  heaps of  information.

Although the Cloud stores much of our personal information it can be freely examined by the government and even sold to companies seeking such information. When this data is sold, universities and employers can use it to determine your place in their facility if any at all. With this information known it may restrict what we feel is safe to do over the Cloud

The reality is that the Cloud is not entirely safe. It may be the most available means of saving data in certain situations but it is also under constant surveillance by the government. The Cloud may not have the ability to crash altogether but there is a danger of a server shutting down. In conclusion the the Cloud can create and destroy job opportunities, it has the capability of losing piles of information but is an extremely convenient source of reserving details.

About Me!

Hey! I'm Adel.
I was born in Grenada and come from a Grenadian family but have lived in Kenya for most of my life and have been to six schools in my lifetime so far. I have two brothers (one older and one younger) and I live with both of my parents.
My summer novel 2014
Orphan Black, Breaking Bad, House of Cards and The Newsroom and the
Pretty Little Liars series are a few of my favorite shows. Some of my favorite movies include Stuck In Love, Looper and The Breakfast Club.

I'm a big fan of reading and collect multiple novel series and magazines. My father is an author who has encouraged my love of reading. I almost always have a new book on the top of my reading list.

I am an avid listener of Indie and alternative music including Haim, Alt J, The Middle East and The Preatures. Bryan Adams, Niel Diamond and Paul Simon are some of my all-time favorite artists though i do listen to current artists like One Direction, 5 Seconds of Summer, Ellie Goulding and Ed Sheeran.
